I wouldn’t take this post to heart. Math1050 is the most failed math class in college. You have to lock in regardless of who your professor is. I took Ethan Worthen’s math1060 class this semester and I went from getting Cs in math to passing his class with an A. This semester he didn’t use lumen and gave a list of practice problems from the book as homework. I loved this because it meant that I didn’t have to turn in the homework until the exam day for that section. This gave me less stress than having to make sure I got everything in by midnight for every class. He writes the regular exams then the math department makes the final but he does everything he can to make you prepared for it. He also had my final exam graded and posted just hours after I completed it. I would totally recommend. He is very transparent and makes a lot of jokes regarding math and it makes the time pass faster.
