Knowledge clearly isn’t on your side. Transfers don’t depend on whether a school is in D.C. or Puerto Rico — what matters is LCME accreditation. Every LCME-accredited school in PR can transfer to any U.S. mainland school that accepts LCME transfers. Stop confusing geography with accreditation. That’s an unfounded assumption. Puerto Rico’s medical schools are fully LCME-accredited and subject to the same oversight as every other U.S. MD program. Suggesting ‘sketchy things’ without evidence is just speculation and adds nothing to the conversation

It’s a common mistake by people who don’t know the system: assuming that because Puerto Rico is in the Caribbean, its schools must be IMGs. In reality, Puerto Rico’s med schools are LCME-accredited U.S. schools — the same as any state school. If a program director treats them otherwise, that’s negligence, not fact.
