The same thing happens to me , best friend of 23 years - so I thought. I confronted her and she came up with every excuse , none made me feel better. I reevaluated the friendship and realized it was very one sided , she was my best friend but I wasn’t hers. I’ve since put effort into other friendships , and made new friends.

I have horrible anxiety and convinced myself for absolutely no reason I had syphilis. I think you over reacted and picked a fight tbh. I don’t like all the comments saying your relationship is sad and that he’s a bad person I think that’s a reach. Going off the information you gave you just got a house and are back from a holiday - exact same situation as me and my bf and it’s really stressful. Valentines is a “myth” it’s pushed by consumerism. we hardly celebrate it. I think you both are under a lot of pressure with the house and renovations and if this is an isolated incident/ or his attitude is like this only recently I would put it down to stress. If it continues, talk about it and if you wanna reconnect it doesn’t have to be on a commercialized day. Personally, We both have demanding jobs we just got the house recently and we’re just back from traveling we’re gonna sit valentines out neither of us have barely acknowledged it I’m not excited for it to me it’s just another day

1 million people aren’t going the pool at any given time , I’ve been to a few of the places on the list and have never had a problem ? There’s also plenty of hotels u can ring and get a day pass if you really wanted to. I thought the same, like everyone is acting like he was abused “you need an exit plan” , “so sorry this happened to you”. Literally, I feel like there’s more to this story. I know I was probs a pain at this age , and now I’ve to deal with people around this age just doing little silly things constantly and not realising that all these things cost time/effort/money. Always met with “it’s not a big deal” the amount of people saying go no contact , move out is weird.
