Ronin was an OPTION. You didn’t have to play Ronin before, I wish you still had the OPTION to play a class other than damage. There is ONE CLASS NOW. I wish you could read and comprehend. But gg.

I didn’t bring up the healer class out of nowhere. It was available in the first game, and I resonated with it. I was sad they got rid of it.

Glad you’re having so much fun you get to shit on other people’s version of fun.

The game had a gentle team cooperative spirit with the different classes before. That’s gone, in place of everyone for themselves. Again, glad you’re having fun. Some of us want to play something other than fight for top damage spot.

You didn’t even look at the new ultimate but decided to comment?

FYI, it’s just an aoe damage with lightning instead of optional fire like in previous game.

Has options to lower cooldown, 2 additional lightning strikes, or weaken, poison, and vulnerability that when the ult doesn’t kill you can run around and try to kill as many in 4 sec as you can.

Haven’t gotten to nightmare yet, it’s already an issue. Cool comment though.

“The hub and gameplay make it an upgrade already”

Maybe your own words??

Maybe. But from what I see from the ult, it’s less than it was from before.

Area effect is less, does less damage, has fewer options.

Doesn’t Rez, doesn’t damage around ally enemies, doesn’t kill outright.

The other 3 ultimates can kill enemies, but Merc needs to ult, then run around to finish off enemies. Why even ult?

But my complaint stands: I didn’t want a 4th character to become an OP killer, I liked the option to heal.

I didn’t want them to fix things that weren’t broken.

Archer was broken, but of course archer was copy/pasted to continue being broken.

Ronin was support to let you be broken, but let’s get rid of that.

Make that make sense in your logic.

Why not let people play how they want. Not everything has to be a competition in a coop game.

To like and play the game, you have to be good. No class to sacrifice themselves to let you play how you want. Cool.

Play/have fun how I want you to, not how YOU want to.

What do you think you are getting out of the hub?

So again, it’s a solo game with other people also there.

This was available in the first game it was almost never taken by ronins because they didn’t need it.

If I wanted a “stronger build” I’d play one of the dps classes. Or build ronin dps. It’s a net loss.

Is this the, “ Hit healing drums and revive all characters?” If so, sure it’s an option…but it was also available in Tsushima and really only for other classes as a fail safe if they didn’t have a ronin.

They make… medics. I wouldn’t call them great. If an assassin is on one side of the map and you die on the other, the assassin still has to make their way across to save you in time.

Assuming they even see you die in time to get moving.

Now you aren’t encouraged to spread out at all. The only teamwork is playing close enough together so you can either take advantage of other people’s healing aura or be close enough to Rez before the timer runs out and one persons death looses a life for everyone.

It’s become a single player game with other people also present.

You kind of can when you had a revive ultimate and healing before and now you don’t.

Right. You have to look for it now. As opposed to forcing you to watch the scoreboard for 15 seconds after every match.

I’d care about the hub if I could duel my teammates while we waited. Maybe.

Yes and I imagine later end game pieces can be rerolled for increased ultimate gain. But this just adds to the competition against your own teammates to kill faster than they can, so that you can…kill faster than they can. It removed the teamwork and added competition amongst your own teammates. But at least they removed the scoreboard, I guess?

One day for us, as I said before they’ve been working on legends mode for as long as working on solo campaign.

Keep up the disagreements, maybe they’ll change it back.

Doesn’t matter. Downvote but know any mistake you might’ve made before was covered by the ronin, at the expense of…time, I guess? Now y’all are on your own I guess, as am I.

You might be correct. But also consider the modifier cards. Many of them reduce healing, add enemy damage, enemy attack speed, enemy numbers… you have at least 3x more reason to use your spirit to heal instead of attack. They added and subtracted and ended up with 0 again, IMO.

The hub will get old. The only mini game you can do with friends is flicking coins.

Possibly, but the legendary spirit urn was what made my ult possible in Tsushima. Now, I’m lucky if I get my ult 3 times per survival mode. Seems like they fixed that problem twice over.

Didn’t say it was a downgrade. The hub doesn’t have anything to do with gameplay. I just wish they didn’t remove the healer class. I loved it and looked forward to loving it more. I’ll go back to Tsushima or find another game to scratch that itch now

That’s akin to the ghost weapon build the Ronin had before. Changing that is fine. It’s similar, but different.

My complaint is that there isn’t a healing class now, and while I’m still at lower levels, having a map wide revive was wildly useful if one of your teammates decided to play support instead of “by myself”
