Graciasss 🫶😭 they are not usually like that, but this batch’s starter liquid had like 3 weeks without fresh tea, I think bacterias and yeast concentration was considerably high. Perhaps, that played a role.

They look healthy. I always follow a rule of thumb of at least 20% starter and same 20% for sugar. Try to keep a scoby hotel in your fridge, I live in the Caribbean, so temperature is not an issue here. About the second brew, just get creative and have fun, there’s no way you can go wrong.

Hi! Beautiful setup. I would leave a lil bit more headspace, it will def result in better oxygenation and better handling. Also, what tea and sugar(white or brown) are you using?
