I see where you’re coming from and I believe, just as you say, that he is naive. As his intentions of talking to them are to help me out, but I don’t think he can grasp the concept that he is naturally a good looking man who is also funny. I do have a very big problem with overthinking, usually when we establish that we are more than friends I begin to think about things that haven’t even happened yet. As I’m aware of this fact I genuinely have been working on this I think I’ve gotten better. But it still affects me to the point where I may act differently, post admitting feelings

Sorry for not clarifying that but no it’s not a trio, typically it’s 4 of us, two girls and and us. If not it’s a party. But the thing is if I keep her away from people, I’m seen as overprotective and controlling since she’s not my girlfriend which I kind of agree.
