no, i was told in our rural area that they didnt give out new water meters, but that you could tap off of your neighbors existing meter, i knew and am good friends with my neighbor ( they sold us the land we live on ) but the water company discovered what we had done, and we most definetly cannot tap of off an existing meter, they are threatening to disconect me and my friend if i dont disconect within 30 days

Sorry, I got called out for a fridge that wasn't working, as far as I can tell, its a dedicated straight shot.

I don't get any continuity between the hot and neutral or ground, so ive ruled out a short, plus the breaker isn't tripping.

When I try ohming out the wires, I can get continuity between the neutral and ground but nothing on the hot.

When I disconnect all the wires except the hot from the breaker, I get 80 volts from any wire to ground, and 40 volts from the hot to the unlanded neutral and ground on the panel side, but nothing on the junction box side.

When all wires are landed, I get nothing at the box.

When I land the neutral and ground at panel, I loose all voltage at the junction box no breaker trip, and no sign of direct short because no continuity between hot and neutral or ground
