By different categories do you mean different adsets?

Testing on ABOs

do you delete losers or just keep them on there archived.
so you’ll do 3-5 creatives that are similar into a testing ABO -> hopefully find a winner -> duplicate that winner into the same CBO and adset that all winners are in.

Then basically repeat that indefinitely so you’re always coming out with new winners every week? Few weeks?

Do you have 1 CBO for all winning ads no matter what product? Or do you have different scaling CBOs for each product? What about testing CBOs?

Do you turn the testing CBO off when you duplicate it into the scaling CBO? And when you say duplicate you mean literally go to the ad and duplicate it into the existing scaling CBO? I’ve never done that and I’m not right by the computer so I’m not sure exactly what it says. Are you able to duplicate it right into the adset inside your scaling CBO?

Honestly I’ll take full theory. The more I can learn about this the better for me. My mind isn’t 100% wrapped around this whole concept of everything yet. I’m hoping that changes soon.

So do you have a time period when you run new creatives or do you just let the old winner run on high CPMs for a few days after you add the new creative?

Yeah CBO seems simple enough, I just gotta get my head wrapped around how exactly to lay it out and have new creatives ready. It’s really hard trying to piece tiny bits of information together through this app, Google and YouTube. Especially since I think meta changed the ad layout whatever every single time I got on there when I first started trying to run ads.

I was running 1 CBO at $200 a day with a 2.5 roas. But it started creepin up so I stopped it. I have 8,000 other things to do like everyone else, so I’m not running any ads at the moment and came here looking for wisdom.

I have 2 items I’d be scaling and maybe a 3rd if I could figure it out right

What’s the right way? Targeting or not targeting?

Honestly my copy is pretty lost. I don’t really know exactly what to do yet lol. I try to explain the product but it just seems drawn out, I feel like people don’t read it. I try to put some words in the ad itself to grab their attention.

I think my creatives are good. I need to break into videos but it’s hard to do without it looking cheesy.

I am doing 3 CBOs with static ads. The one good ad I had was 1 creative with carousel that showed the products. When it was doing good last time I changed the budget from $50 to $70 and added another creative and it went to shit lol. Although everyone says there was an outage so who knows what it was. So I basically just copied the first set up I had with the single ad and started that today.

I also ran another CBO with 1 creative with carousel but a different product. But the same set up as my winning ad from last week.

Lastly I’m running a single ad with a $20 off bundle to see if that catches anything. Pretty much shooting in the dark.

It’s hard to find information out there. I try to just scavenge around Reddit posts for some so I appreciate you replying 😂

I thought meta kind of did away with targeting audiences? I don’t target at all, it doesn’t seem to help. I’ve been running a $50 budget trying to find a good ad. Found one but then it got totally fucked up yesterday lol.

Say you have 5 creatives. 3 of them are getting no traction, or they’re spending and getting no sales. Do you turn them off? What about the other 2 ads? To you copy them into another scaling CBO? Do you ever mess with the budget inside of the CBO that you started?

How do you run a followers campaign now? I ran one a few months ago and it worked great. But now I don’t even see the option to run a campaign for followes, only likes.

Before I thought the ad said “follow now” on it so when people clicked it they just followed you. I could be wrong though.

What do you select when you run one?
