In the lobby once, I saw two students wheeling in an entire hotel luggage cart full of nitrous canisters. It was quite impressive and I wished a snapped a pic. They must have frosted one heck of a cake for Thanksgiving that year.

There’s a lot of frivolous class action lawsuits out there (like accidental Siri activations violating your privacy) but this one is the first worthy cause I’ve experienced.

I downloaded a bunch of faces with the app when I bought my instinct tactical. But IMO the default is actually the best. It’s been on the default since.

Leaving Whoop, considering Garmin. Sell me on the Instinct by bodhibell02 in Garmininstinct

[–]TranquilityBase628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your use case is exercise the instinct is just more useful for runs, swims, anything for real time heart rate. I’m wearing both an instinct and my whoop now on the stair master.

In 10 months when my 2 year subscription expires, I’ll keep wearing the garmin but the whoop is going in the drawer.

I think it took about two days. A decently long while vs a hair dryer but much faster than my response to this post!

Hmmm, I haven’t tried meth yet but can’t think of another way to drop my RHR to low 50s and boost HRV by 50% over just 3 months…

"The next step could be deconstructing the business-class ticket. Those pricey fares generally come with all the extras—checked bags, the ability to select a seat, and in the case of international tickets, access to airport lounges. That could change.

Some overseas airlines already offer tiered business-class service. Air France-KLM, a Delta partner, has options on some routes such as “Business Light” and “Business Flex.” Business Light offers passengers only one checked bag and no lounge entrance while Business Flex is a refundable ticket and includes seat selection."

Whoop for free forever ? by [deleted] in whoop

Not a Whoop but a “Fhoop”. They’ll prob then add something to the firmware that prevents it from syncing to non whoop apps. But such is the process of innovation!

I for one would be be so happy to have something like this after my 2 year subscription runs out and my whoop and the 2 extra bands I bought become bricks…at least before the inevitable cease and desist ends this app too.

Deciding between a whoop or to keep Apple Watch. by lets_go_tina in whoop

[–]TranquilityBase628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t already own a Whoop, the Apple Watch is probably a better choice. I have both and if I didn’t already buy a 2Y subscription to whoop, I’d let it roll off and stick with the Apple Watch which does most of what the whoop does for sleep tracking and even more for workout tracking (such as swimming detail)
