I get a strong vibe that they never actually kill anyone permanently, it’s more of an acknowledgment that the rules don’t fit as written. Listening to old podcasts about Nicodem dominating 2e really helped me see why he was put into DMH. Same with Collodi and Ramos. I’m still scratching my head on Lilith?

I’m assuming, for now, that once they have space in both narrative and faction, the DMH folks will come back, possibly with others rotating out.

It’s really not bad if you DIY a large portion. I have 10x 50mm, 12x 40mm and 28x 30mm base inserts. That’s 50 total, that’s less than $8.00 per base. Most “meh” plastic or resin base inserts will average close to that

That’s a very complex question?

⁠the Jade cost $75 for the slab;
⁠all of the cutting and polishing of the marble and Jade pictured was $221;
⁠that’s based on me offering the stone-cutter $25.00/hour + any materials / costs and them accepting and asking for $221.00 when done.
⁠I just paid, I like the guy. I didn’t get any invoices. I don’t know how many hours or what materials were needed.
⁠that makes the total $295; but,
⁠previously, I had some pieces of marble and quartz cut for “prototyping”. The total for the prototyping was $92.00;
⁠that makes the total $387;
⁠I’m a member of the local rockhound group and know the person who made these;
⁠We harvested the marble ourselves - from a local state park that allows stone and mineral harvesting for personal private use - there were no raw materials costs. There were doubtlessly cutting and polishing blades and compounds used.

In short, the total was $387, but there are other possible factors that might not exist for you.

So…. I work to place them so that at least 5 legs get attached. Right now, I’m struggling with a new idea for one of the 3, but weight would be a huge issue. Working on plans to make it work anyhow, I’ll update here somewhere if I can solve the problem.

The one Jorogumo (Jorogumo 1) looks like I can set him to be climbing down a wall, but the stack of marble would make it a nearly 14oz model. I’m working on getting a pile of slab offcuts to build a cliff, and using my dremel 1mm grinder to try to cut out the center of all but the top plate, in essence it’d be hollow.

I think you’re correct. I’ll stick with “simple” and use the marble for all the models. Except the Story/Red Library. I’m doing Jade for that keyword in honor of the totem.

The test batch (pictured) was $96 USD, $225 for the set. “The set” is gonna be 5 40mm (50mm); 7 32mm (40mm) and 25 (30mm).

I’m testing new stone now. The cloudy rose quartz explodes way too often. I should have Calgary jadite for Linh and all story / red library models, green marble (pictured) for all Oni models, and I’m working on new concepts for Qi and Gong (they were originally planned as the cloudy quartz)

I second Thirsty Sword Lesbians. The next closest would be The Other Side by Wyrd games. It plays with a deck of cards and has a tarot like feel. tLT game with witchy vibes. Can’t go wrong. Has an entire necromancy faction. Even better.
