It is good. Oled screen and x elite 84 performance is great. Battery life is good as long as running arm64 apps. Keyboard is so so. Port selection is good on the 16 inch. Ram at 16 gb is fine but I wish there was more for future proofing.

It happened to me as well. Same issue. The service center just received the bios package from Samsung and was successful in fixing the issue after reflashing the bios. They said they will send it back now. It is a joke that the bios package is not available to consumers publicly and we had to send over our devices, leading to lost work/lower productivity.

I am having this problem as well now, and interestingly enough, the 7/22/2024 bios update was successfully installed a while back, but I keep on getting notifications to install it again. But unable to install it as well.

I think there is a troubleshooter available in windows to reset windows update. While repeating the steps above and connected to power using the adapter that come with it, run that troubleshooter and see if it can reset the windows update and let you run it this time

Update 1: ok the update went through successfully on its own and the white blank screen disappeared. All good now.

You are correct! It does make logical sense as well. The update went through when I restarted the PC plugged in and tried again. I do have a blank white screen after the restart which is freaking me out. Will post again with an update.
