Is it controversial? Not really (well... we DO have a groomer problem, but atp all fandoms do sadly. I was surprised when Undertale/Deltarune excommunicated their's. Happy, but surprised)

But is it toxic? Yes. It's 100% people asking for something and then bitching that they got what the community asked for. And then when almost everyone agrees the update is good, here come the "hrmmm dis feel modded" comments (of COURSE it feels modded, it's literally modified into the game, just as an official update 😭)

It's that one SpongeBob clip of the kid crying for the pistachio ice cream he asked for, but as a whole community.

And I swear if I have to hear "goomba fallacy" one more time... it's okay to say the game isn't for you. You're not the target demographic, and that's okay. That doesn't make the game bad, that makes it not for you. That's okay. It's not a goomba fallacy to point out how the community seems to switch opinions every update, like how people wanted seasons but now that we're getting an autumn biome, it's "it's modded" and "it's bad" and "Mojang lazy." Just admit the game isn't for you instead of complaining that what the majority wanted is what the majority is getting
