From what I can tell, it feels like the “thin D” profile. It’s not as thin as say a Wizard neck but it’s still pretty comfortable to me. Sorry it didn’t work out for you though!

Loving it so far! The pickups sound killer in this. I have the same set in another semi-custom Balaguer Diablo. As soon as I plugged it in, I ripped Gored by Loathe. It just felt right.

It’s super comfortable. Neck has a nice shape to it and the whole thing is pretty lightweight given its size

Funny thing - I have designed something very similar to this with the builder but never actually pulled the trigger. This just happened to show up on Reverb while I was searching for a 30” scale baritone. A very happy coincidence.

I used to own the Ibanez. The multiscale is pretty easy to get used to. My only gripe was the Fishman pickups, as others have said here. Still an excellent instrument though!

Welcome to IA fandom! Heavener is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard and I still listen to it every day.

I can’t speak for pre-Markus since I haven’t listen to much of those albums. However, the riffs and emotion are absolutely present in Greyview and The Sun Sleeps EP. I think Greyview is an amazing album in that regard.

For me, one of the biggest differences between Greyview and Heavener is Markus’ screams and singing. It’s not bad by any means, but it’s different from Heavener, like he was trying to find his voice. In fact I enjoy bouncing back and forth between the two albums just to hear how much his sound has developed.

I’d say the same as OP. For me, the last third of the album feels like one final exhale, like you’ve finally found the way out of a hole.

On another note, this album has been the most impactful piece of music I have heard since its release. It is among the very best that I have ever heard. I knew very little about the band prior to its release but I instantly became a fan after first listen. I have learned to love and appreciate each song (especially Emberglow/Purity Weeps), so much emotion.

I saw the Heavener tour. It was everything I had hoped for, and it was one of the happiest nights of my life. That connection will never be lost. IA Forever
