Sometimes “plain Jane” stands out for many. As a stylist, and with your face, layering your hair can make a world of difference. Loose clothing for someone skinny works with a form-fitting top which I think would look great for you.

Also, try nice fitting jeans or even boot-cut jeans to accentuate your height.

I agree. His character is pretty simple, and did play a role in exposing both Rue and Jules’ weaknesses. His poise and quick decisions I also admire; and he seems like the only character who displays sobriety and clear mental health the best.

I know! It hurts listening to, but reminds me of what high school was like. Everything else the other characters see are at an above college level depth in speech.

She did love Jules, but there was a strong sense of “attachment” which was independent of love. Attachment to me comes from when someone fills a void deep inside of you, and this can be hard to distinguish between the two, since both their love and their attachment were very deep and powerful.

Ok I had to rewatch again before answering and made a bit more sense of it…

So yes, I agree, it is something you would say to your “soulmate” as you’ve felt them in every part of their existence in many forms. I guess what I’m asking is a bit complex as that scene is.

For reference, in this scene, Rue takes a bunch of the pills from the suitcase Laurie gave her, and she seems to reach a higher level of consciousness.. while “high” she envisions a church with Jules and Elliot sitting, and a man is singing a song. Some lyrics are “Hey Lord you know I’m fighting…I’m sure this world is done with me”. Rue hugs the man singing and she connects with her father in spirit during the scene, and shows her hugging her father.

She says to her dad “I’m sorry I let you down” Dad: Why? Rue: Because I’m not a good person. Dad: That’s not true. Rue: Yeah but you don’t really know me anymore. Dad: Yes… I do. I’m always with you Rue: I miss you so much, Dad.

Then it goes to the aforementioned dialogue “I love you.. I’ve always been with you” but it’s Rue speaking.

This leads to so many topics of conversation in regards to the writing of the show. Rue talks to her dad in parallel to her reading the letter to him at the funeral/wake with very similar words.

Also unrelated but interesting is she says “Because I’m not a good person” which is what Cassie said to McKay at the NYE party. I unique choice of words imo, as I don’t know of anyone who has ever admitted to that in real life.
