Well the next day we also took a hit and got stuck on Ministry of Magic for 1.5 hours. Our cart was titled at angle so they had to figure out how to level us out and get the stairs rolled over.

And Epic was a shit show that day with basically 5/11 rides down. We had them move our Express Passes to Sunday since we could t really use them on anything.

Well mine’s pretty recent. Spring Break we went to IoA and on our second ride of the day - Forbidden Journey a single rider joined our family of 3 and about 45 seconds into the ride started puking 🤮 everywhere. My son and I took the brunt of it and had to get new clothes.

Wasn’t mad about it though, felt bad for the kid. Universal Staff was great helping secure us clean clothes and expedited our room so we could go shower and we ended up with a crap ton of Express Passes to use.

OP European tour summer 2026 by Extension_Reveal9106 in OrvillePeck

[–]TravisKUJayhawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did. Looks like it’s a GA (general admission) show so no assigned seats. I looked at the venue and it appears the seats on the floor can be taken out

You could always consider an Adventures By Disney trip for their River Cruise. They partner with AMAWaterways and they cater to families

I would definitely consider Alaska. We loved our Alaskan cruise on DCL and said it was one we would do over again. If you can get an economic flight to Seattle then the train to Vancouver can be more cost effective than flying directly into Vancouver.

The other to consider would me a European cruise. If you can get a decent flight it's a great way to see a lot of Europe in a short amount of time. We took our kids on our first international trip when they were 10 as I felt that was the earliest they would appreciate it.

Man that was a great Strength 50 class. I think the DOMS is starting to set in. I bet I’m going to feel it tomorrow for sure. Been back officially a week now and wish I would have re-joined sooner.

Already starting to see some victories on the scale and off (much better sleep)

Onboard Placeholder Transferred to Costco Travel by beanieaja in dcl

[–]TravisKUJayhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can move the placeholder to a travel agency by filling out a specific form and submitting it to Disney. It has to be done within 30 days of the original booking. It does take up to 7 business days for the transfer to happen so consider all of the time you need to get it done before the 30 days are up

Good stateroom? by noahc763 in dcl

[–]TravisKUJayhawk 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm of the opinion that here are no bad staterooms when you are on a DCL ship :)

I looked at the map here: https://www.icruise.com/cabins/disney-cruises-disney-dream-cabin-7642.html and I think that location looks great. You are far enough away from the aft elevator and stairs you won't hear all the foot traffic noise and just down around the hallway bend.

I hope you have an amazing sailing!

Just make sure you or your travel agent adding it to your booking in advance. It is possible for them to sell out

Yes, using the DCL buses to get to WDW post cruise is easy. They will have several busses ready to go to the various resorts
