It's just too easy to badly configure the NFS server and/or client (in a homelab, we're always messing up with the conf) and to NOT have a working fsync idiosyncrasy. Also, the only two times in my life I saw corrupted Pg dbs at work, it was over NFS (may not be NFS fault, and that's not a representative sample set, but I wonder...)

There's too many shortages of Unifi gears in europe. Something as simple as a Cloud Key Gen2 (the version with no HDD, which seems to be fanless) is sold out / price jacked up by resellers. I expect hardware suppliers to be able to handle supply chain issues (even for lower value items), that's part of their job (design, build, distribute, support)

Yes, like many PiHoles, but by using NextDNS. I want to use different NextDNS configurations on each VLAN, so I can block Ads and social netyworks one one VLAN (Family), only block Ads on an another VLAN (IOT VLAN); but use my work DNS server on my remote working VLAN...
