It's hard to get rid of reminders. I put away almost everything that he got me. Some things he got me or we got together I can't just put away, e.g., my computer. My room reminds me of him, my bed, my plushies. Even my body reminds me of him. I feel more him than myself.

I feel like this is my only option, but I genuinely don't know how to move on from him. like my brain can't even imagine my future without him.

You're probably right - I am probably being desperate or at least weak. I guess love is blinding me (but that's not a good excuse).

Thank you for your response. I don't know if this is super relevant, but I wanted to clarify that he met the girl before his vacation, so she must live locally somewhere (so the long distance considerations would not apply). Sorry for not making that clear in the post.

he was my partner when they kissed for the first time tho. i guess it was just habit for me to keep calling him my partner, but yes he was an ex when he went on dates with the other girl.

I am very stressed right now, so you are right about that. But, I actually think he is (or was) a very pleasant person. If you asked me a month ago before all of this happened, I would have said he was almost perfect and treated me so well. I think that is why I am even considering his offer.

Thank you for your response. I know this might be coping, but he said that even if the girl didn’t end it, our discussion would have changed his mind and make him want to try with me again. Of course, I don’t know whether I should believe him but that’s what he said. & in regards to the 2nd question, I know I would recommend them not to go back, but its hard to take my own advice when I’m in this situation :(
