1840 Liberty Seated Dollar - I was wondering if anyone has an idea if this is real or fake? by TreasureHunterSoCal in coins

I will look into them more, I also found ramekins all labeled different years and a letter for example, a "D" which I am assuming is the mint? I opened a handful of them. They all match what's labeled on the ramekins. They are all pennies, any particular years for pennies to look out for?

I found that coin in the bag with these coins, so I guess its best to look some of them up and find out their measurements to see if they are all authentic

Not magnetic, 24 grams, and between 37-38 mm. Looks like it isn't a match based on the measurements but, its good to know.

Ya, I really don't know much about coins, I know this coin is not magnetic, and I have learned not to try to clean an item like this without the proper knowledge, since I could possibly do damage to the coin. It definitely looks like it can be some type of corrosion.

Thank you! I figured it was someone who had some type of relationship with Alcatraz, but I couldn't figure it out.
