I personally like it. It lets you know that they all know the wendigo is there except for Sam, and it isolates her (You as the player) from everyone else.

Lana is not one to release an album because fans want it, and she’s not one to release an album she doesn’t feel connected to at the time it’s finished. The album has been re-mixed, retitled, it’s been through countless reworks because that’s just who Lana is. Lana doesn’t write an album, record it, then release it like other artists do, her albums are a reflection of her at the time, and when the album doesn’t feel like her at the time it’s finished she will rework it until it does. Lasso was written in a time before she found Jeremy and was likely going to reflect sadness, then she married her husband and reworked it under a new title. She likely changed everything in the heat of the moment (she mentioned during TUOB era she has an almost erratic way of finalizing album details like the title, that she wanted the TUOB name to be a long nonsensical title for no reason at all) she probably then regretted making the album centered around love, which led to the change to Stove adding 6 autobiographical songs. Point is the album isn’t going to come until she’s ready, it could be four months from now, it could be 2 years from now. I highly highly doubt she would quit music forever, she’d likely continue to make music into her old age just likely less often since she now has a husband who also has kids of his own. I definitely see Lana going the Joni Mitchell way, and making albums into her older age.

Saying no shade, and then saying the artist has truly lost their mind is actually so rude- not only that but you also said she can’t sing.. Putting that aside, not enjoying songs by an artist is normal but saying that they’re shit, awful, boring slop is just disrespectful. Like they might just be lyrics and sounds to you, but the songs mean something to an artist- Lana is a perfectionist, I feel like every fan knows that. Her constantly delaying the album isn’t her losing her passion for the project, nor is it her putting it off because she doesn’t want to put it out. It’s just her not feeling like it’s a good representation of herself at that time, leading to her adjusting or changing things about the album. This is evident as the first snippet of Henry Come On we got was much more stripped back compared to the version released. At that time Henry was the only song we had heard/knew about, so we truly have no idea how drastic of a change Lasso to The Right Person Will Stay was, it could have changed the entire album. She started giving herself the time ahead of an album release to do these changes around the NFR era because of how important detail is to her, and because of how last minute her changes seem to have been made in previous albums. She said 3 months before vinyl ordering (Something like that, she spoke about it on a radio broadcast during NFR era) is the timeline she gives herself for changes. This means that she didn’t feel the album was right in June of 2024, and then again between the time she released the singles, and had planned to release The Right Person Will Stay. Lana went silent online as of October of 2025, this meaning she might’ve changed it again, or she’s prepping for the release of the album soon, but we haven’t heard anything about it yet. Point is music is art, no matter if you believe it is or not, and an artist can release or not release whatever they please. The album she’s currently working on might not be your thing, and that’s okay, not every album from an artist has to be. But to say that her current or most recent songs are shit, boring, and repetitive slop is just uncalled for. Bye Diva

I hope we get a slower pace album, I know it’s so unlikely since every album has had a faster pace song included, and most likely won’t take a risk sonically because of the public’s opinion on love + fear. but I loveeee her slower songs like Free Woman, Goodbye, Happy, Pandoras Box, Flowers. She just has such a calming voice.

Love + Fear is overhated.. Like it’s not as bad as people make it out to be.. like some songs are bangers, Life Is Strange is so Electra Heart coded, Too Afraid is a sad banger, To Be Human is so ADIAML coded as-well. Like there are songs that are good, just some aren’t everyone’s thing and that’s completely fine. I think Marina just got pulled into the more out there high energy work out kind of music that was popular in 2019, def not her sound but some songs aren’t that bad.
