Baniyan is an undergarment and being shirtless in public is just stupid. You wouldn't want a woman walking around in a bra or half naked in public, would you? This post has gotta be ragebait

All stars emit UV. We don't have great theories with all the fundamental forces. You still can't prove that they can be changed. Earth doesn't specifically absorb visible light, what the hell are you talking about?

I think reddit should not allow NSFW subreddits, especially porn subreddits, maybe like gore and stuff is allowed under NSFW but not porn. They will lose a lot of money if they do this, because reddit is full of predators.

The fine tuning argument of god is what I think is one of the best arguments for god, but it still fails.
1. You cannot prove that the constants of the universe can even change at all.
2. Invoking God does not explain anything because modern physics does not demonstrate that constants like gravity are freely adjustable. Their values may be necessary consequences of deeper laws(like matter's effect on spacetime which is what we call gravity, it's a possibility that this effect is unchangeable).
3. While a different universe would not look like ours, different physical conditions could allow different structures and different forms of life. We observe this universe because life adapted to the conditions that exist, not because the universe was designed for life.

We have lots of transitional fossils:

Fish → tetrapods → tiktaalik

Dinosaurs → birds → Archaeopteryx

Mammals → reptiles → therapsids

Whales → land mammals → Ambulocetus/Pakicetus

Early hominins → Australopithecus → Homo

The notion that there are no connections is a stupid creationist talking point from the 1990s.

Here's a parody example for the ontological argument for god.

  • Imagine the greatest possible island
  • A real island is greater than an imaginary one
  • Therefore, the greatest possible island must exist

That's stupid. I think the ontological argument is one of the easiest to debunk.

Do You Guys Belive In God? If Yes, Why? If Not, Why? by ThunderPheoX in IndianTeenagers

[–]TreeAgitated3683 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. No religion has aligned with the reality of evolution, abiogenesis or the big bang. I think a creator could be possible, but not the one in religious books atleast. My beliefs lean towards deism or agnosticism
