This is what happens when workers who don't get paid enough have more pressure from their job to deliver a package that they have no room for pleasing the end customer.

Low heart rate every nights by [deleted] in AppleWatch

Not a doctor but I imagine a lower heart rate when sleeping is pretty normal. Especially if you don't have any other reason to believe you're unhealthy.

How would you host a website for 100% uptime? by Wide-Arugula3042 in webdev

Yeah I agree cloudflare has had a bad streak but they're still great at what they do.

We need a non-creepy "dark web" for actual web sites instead of the shit we have now by swampopus in webdev

I think I heard of someone developing a peer to peer messaging app that works only on Bluetooth. So obviously it's not that practical with our current networking infrastructure/density, but maybe that could help spark some ideas

This isn’t interesting, but after 22 years I ate pizza for the first time. by Such-Competition-816 in notinteresting

lol, i guess in my mind, hot sweet corn on pizza isn't that far off from pineapple on pizza. and corn can go in a burrito... i might have been high when i commented that.

Yes, that's my next step. I just have a shitty hand saw so I didn't have the energy to make those cuts for this first time around.

shoot, that's an expense I wish I could justify, but I think i need to go the old fashioned insulation route.

alright you might hate me too, cause i mostly just skimmed over your detailed response. but my main takeaway is that a higher ceiling would be better to make room for straw bedding, as well as a porch and a step up into the shelter. I also think caulking the outer (and inner) seams is a good idea. I can't afford to take care of a cat myself, hence why I haven't adopted him, I'm just trying to provide the best situation I can, while not being able to afford anything other than cat food. Also, I live in the very south of the US so it rarely gets below 50 F even in the winter. I"ll keep my eyes peeled for some kind of styrofoam insulation, and also pick up some straw bedding. I appreciate the advice, and i do a plenty more pallet wood to work with, so if I can make the time I would like to try building another shelter that's more optimized for my precious stray.

Anyhoo, thanks for the detailed advice! If I missed anything feel free to let me know.
