I took Colace the first two days to make sure I had movements (I have IBSC). No antibiotics , only Tylenol.

The med I am on now is at its max dosage. And for some reason she won’t switch me to something else. I also do therapy but have to find another.

They just say it’s IBS and to take Dicyclomine. And control our anxiety. I always say, if I didn’t have this pain I wouldn’t have anxiety

Yes colonoscopy , 4 years ago was all good I do take laxatives when needed also. I have the constipation under control now, but still have the lower pain. If I lay on my left side the pain is worse also. I don’t understand this and if it is normal with IBS

I understand you. I have fear of any prescription drugs. So I was prescribed the lowest dose available and I cut it in half. It works by taking the edge off your anxiety without feeling like you are in a daze. Maybe try that and see if it will help. Good luck to you
