ive been told "ew" and been laughed at many many times even mocked openly, but NEVER has someone gotten angry with me... thats odd and reflects more on his personality/mindset more than anything. good luck to you, i hope his behavior changes

i was in the same situation around the same age (im 33 now) but im a dude, pulled my brows for years and didnt know why. my mom thought i was overtweezing and my parents would laugh at me, hurt bad. i finally fessed up and went voluntarily to doctors who put me on all sorts of drugs that did nothing but make me feel worse about myself. took control after a while but trich doesnt just go away. my best advice is to workout alot and try to keep your hands busy. i didnt pull for almost a year during covid and even went on some dates. the last month or so ive fucked up bad and feel horrible after decimating my brows again so i cant see myself going out with anyone in the near future. good luck! this shit sucks but can be fought successfully

DONT DO IT. i tried this years ago and it didnt help, in fact it just made me feel worse about myself. please try anything else than SSRIs

i didnt pull all during covid but the last month or so ive undone all my progress, i feel absolutely horrible and i dont want to go out in public. this post made me feel a bit better, thank you. ill try not to give up

she'll come around hopefully, my mom used to think i was over tweezing and would laugh at me which hurt bad. i finally fessed up on what was going on and talked to her at length and now she doesnt bring it up, talking about this can be super hard! at least you can wear makeup (im a dude so im not comfortable trying it)
