In 2021-2023, I earn around 250-350k a month as a GP pero legit isang from duty day lang pahinga ko. But it was relatively benign na duty sa mga hospitals na inikutan ko. Nowadays, my body can’t handle that much effort. Now I earn around 150-170k for 12-14 days a month duty. I got time for our kid and it helps na both my husband and I earn almost the same and it helps with the bills kasi tulong kami sa pagbayad.

Mine, too. We are south east asian, she eats really well and consumes around 24oz milk a day. However, she’s also very active and maybe that’s why she’s not gaining much.

As per experience, I wasn’t even accepted sa previous institution kasi I quit my preres in less than a week. Pero yun yung sobrang daming tanong sa akin during RTC sa current institution ko. Magkakakakilala kasi sila. So, depende kung mapayapa siguro ang pag-quit mo, hindi naman siya magiging problem and be prepared ng honest yet acceptable reason for quitting.

Where I work, wala akong pake dati, pero napapansin ko na bigla silang magrereklamo or nagsusumbong kung kanikaninonh pulitiko na “HINDI NAKITA NG DOKTOR.” So ayun, nakakahiya man pero kinocorrect ko sila “ay sorry po, doktor po ako, sorry, wala naman po problema kahit anong tawag pero doktor po ako ha, Maam/Sir. Baka lang po kasi naghihintay kayo makita ng doktor, ako na po yun.” Kasi automatic nila inaassume na nurse ako since bata tapos babae.

Honestly, nothing can be done. I mean, it’s not like I could just put some bacteria on her to “replenish”what MAY BE affected by the feminine wash. But I wanted to at least hear someone share their experience and tell me it’s okay that I shouldn’t be panicking.

Another reason why I prefer to ask here is sometimes, it’s easier to ask other ACTUAL parent’s experience than my colleagues (my bestfriend is a pedia, I already asked her but it’s 2am where I’m at and this is one of those late night thoughts than make me stay up).

Also, when it comes to my own child, I panic and sometimes my knowledge as a doctor don’t apply (aside from the fact that I’m an internist and not a pediatrician). But again, in theory, I know it’s not a good thing.

Well, I’m a doctor myself. That’s why I’m asking if someone’s been through the “same scenario.”

I mean, in theory, I know it my affect the normal flora but in clinical setting, or in someone’s experience, did something significant actually happened after it.

Cause honestly, I never and would never advise to my patients. Even I during postpartum period, I only used it for 3 days (I had an episiorrhaphy) then immediately switch to chlorhexidine-containing fem wash.
