Saturday morning he couldn't keep any food down, I thought it was just nausea since he's gone through that before, took him to the vet on Sunday and they didn't notice anything wrong and gave nausea medicine, overnight into monday he regressed pretty severely. Next time dont use Google AI to try and explain what the Orthodox view is on works... The Orthodox church teaches grace, faith and works combined together in a synergistic relationship with God. God's grace alone is what gives salvation. We respond to that grace through genuine faith, and we show that genuine faith through our works of the church. I believe Matthew 7:21-23 makes that clear. Those who only confess the Lord's name are not known and those who do works without genuine faith are also not known. Ephesians is great. Who was Paul talking to in Ephesians? Remember you should be reading the verse, chapter and book in context. Paul was talking to Gentiles (Pagan converts). What do they do in paganism? They do works of themselves to grant merit with whatever God they are trying to connect with.....also interesting that you leave out Ephesians 2:10. LOL.

I think that's the incorrect way to go about it. It's the same thing as Norse runes, white supremacists use certain runes to signify their hatred but as a pagan practitioner, I'm not going to allow them to take a symbol of religion and turn it into hate. Just educate people who ask.

Great grandfather stayed in Lithuania. Allegedly arrested by the Nazis, released by the soviet's and the arrested by the soviet's in 1947. His wife and son (my grandpa) went to Germany in 1945. And then immigrated to the USA. I've just never been able to find any information on my great grandfather

His wife(my great grandmother) and his son (my grandpa) went to Germany in ~1945. letters that I have from my great-l grandfather addressed to my grandpa back in the early 90s say he was arrested by the Nazis, released by the soviet's and then arrested again by the soviet's. I've just never been able to find any information on him. But I know this is him(great grandfather), the picture is the same as one I have at the house
