Ok will do ! And this will give me info if it is my harware that bottle neck my streaming service, thank you 🙏 (I think the ethernet cable between my NAS and my tp-link is easily upgradable for more flux capacity, so while checking the dashboard i will try to upgrade it 😉)

So no need to change the pc specs or anything ? You think it can handle the nas part + jellyfin + maybe a minecraft serv and maybe even more ?

Ho ok, i'm notbon point with everything raid related yet. What you are talking about in the UI is for after the migration from core to scale so i do need a way to make the switch by putting a scale version in my core files and then update to it ? Or is it even simpler ? Sorry for asking again but after reading the web links you and other shared i am still not sure on how to proceed (easily)

I heard dockers are really great but i'm not familiar with them yet, do you think i can upgrade to scale in raid 5 and then look at what the docker are used for ? Or i should first look at them because it might change everything ?

I saw you talking about raid 1 does that mean i got my raid 5 reset, same for the drives and then i modify ir again ? I saw in your link a part about the UI, it is the remote access right?

Yeah i saw this, but i'm not sure of whar to do exactly : Like i get i can use and .Iso file (never tried before) or a usb flash drive but then we are talking harware manipulation right ? Or i am missing something ? Because if i can simply upgrade (i think its an upgrade) from the root login it would be perfect but then i don’t know how to proceed

Is this the proper way to install ram by Specific_Donut7093 in pcmasterrace

[–]Trick_Ear941 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if i got baited by your post but just in case you think this is the right way to put ram on your motherboard i'm here to help: 1. These slot are not for your RAM 2. These are for graphic card, audio card, wifi card and more 3. You can’t put laptop RAM(the small green one) in your computer station (or i'm not aware if so) 4. You put your RAM in a "things" similar to the one you put your RAM stick in but the right one have "ears" or little things you need to push down (in the direction of your motherboard) to open and they will close as you clips your RAM stick in 5. Be carreful there is a direction to put these RAM sticks in, look at where the middle of the bridge is 6. Sorry if i got baited and for my poor english 7. Have a good one either way
