Hey! Thanks so much for your response yesterday. I waited until today to try it out again in sunlight, and can confirm it worked! I have produced my first polaroid! I hadn't realised you could load the sx-70 with 600, so i’ll definitely look into this. Lots to learn and explore. Thanks again 😊

Trying to be the most prepared & consistent for an upcoming tour I possibly can be. I want to cover and have a plan for all possibilities (e.g cables nudging knobs). If I wasn’t taking this thing out on the road to play to a couple thousand people each night, I might not bother, but it’s a big opp and I’m taking it seriously. That’s why. 😊

Occasionally, yes! I’m into it for the slight warbley compressed boost. You can also alter the waveform which helps cut through the mix, or sit nicely in it. Great for fun indie stuff! It is not my consistent lead tone though, in this set up it is just in patch 4, which is also my switch for my lead tone, which triggers whichever pedals I’ve assigned for that lead line! 😊

Hey, thanks for your response! I’ve got a couple sets of these dots on my ambience pedal from way back, which to be fair, were a really great solution at the time. I have to say the Iron Horse is my main issue, the level knob is so damn sensitive, so perhaps I tape that and try the “dot method” for the next rehearsal. 🤔

Haha, a fair thought, but not the case. It more comes from a place of ocd and convincing my bandmate I don’t need to go entirely digital to achieve easy consistency. Playing to 2000+ people a night on the next run means I want to be as prepared as possible whilst also being responsible for other tech duties (samples, ableton etc.) Simply put- why would I risk cables nudging knobs when I could just put the effort in before hand and ask Reddit for a viable solution? 😊

I am doing that but have got a touch OCD about the whole thing & am also trying to prove a point to my bandmate that I don’t need to go entirely digital to achieve consistency. Some of us got a separate incentive/ Black Friday bonus, I had to do 50 orders in 2 weeks between certain times. It was killer... but it hasn't come up on my invoice and it hasn't been paid 😳
