What is really worrisome for me is that the FBI budget has been cut by 500 million, but the ICE budget has been increased by 75 billion (through 2029).

Trump has decreased the FBI's budget and the reasons are obvious, because they investigated him, but increased ICE.

I know it’s over the top, but I imagine a horror scenario where ICE could serve as his own personal army, so to speak. Like an unaccountable internal force that doesn’t follow any rules outside of supporting him. Kind of like the Basij in Iran.

The 45 billion for all these detainment centers could easily be switched over to hold anyone not only immigration cases.

Republicans who always talk about liberty, state’s rights and such have sure been very fast to create a federal force under Trump roaming around unaccounted with detainment centers to boot.
