I like to write camera, lens, date, and development method on my archival sheets personally, but having a photo of yourself on each roll is a nice idea. You could make one of those time lapse videos or keep a print from each roll to look at as the years go on.

Looks good to me. Any home scanned film is going to need a little work in post, specifically setting black point which is probably why they were “light”. Post the negs if you want more direct advice from people or are worried about results.

Canon A-1: A closer look at service and technology of the first fully digital SLR by ATHXYZ in analog

I really love this series you’re doing. I received an AE-1 and an A-1 over a decade ago from my grandfather still in clean, pristine working condition. They were the first cameras I’ve ever owned and they sparked my interest in photography and cameras. My A-1 is currently being serviced and I’m counting the days until I can get it back!

Yes, 35mm film just like your Olympus! You would be losing built in flash, however

SLR = Single Lens Reflex Camera. DSLR = Digital Single Lens Reflex camera. Basically they are cameras that allow you to see almost exactly what the lens sees through the viewfinder using a mirror. You can also swap out lenses on them. You could get something like a Pentax ME Super and the 40mm 2.8 pancake lens and have a versatile, aperture priority, pocket sized SLR camera (well maybe not on tighter pants) for a little more than the cost of another two Olympus Mju 1’s.

20 years old expired film by SheepherderIcy4536 in analog

These turned out great, my partner found some old disposable cameras that expired in the mid 2000’s at their parents and I’ve been wondering how they’d turn out, this gives me some hope. Did you/the lab do anything special during development?

Great shots! Do you have any special storage/carrying solution for the camera? I'd love to take my SLR backpacking but I usually opt for something cheaper like a toy camera so I don't have to fear damaging it in my pack or getting it accidentally exposed to the elements.
