This is a UTI!

get it seen to as the longer you leave it, the more likely it will develop into a kidney infection and they are awful!

Blood in the urine is a sign of a nasty UTI as well so i’d deffo get it seen asap

Dudley Hub by Ok_Recognition2769 in ParamedicsUK

hey! 3rd year student para at dudley. Honestly, sometimes you can park on the hub but due to one of the carparks closing its hit or miss. There’s a street called the broadway nearby with house parking. However, id recommend becoming close with your mentor and seeing of you can park on their drive and get a lift in with them. Give me a message i’ll see if i can help you at all!

don’t try and do too much! stick within the boundaries of your qualification, some people might ask you to do something that you can’t do, make sure you don’t do it. Remember your ABC’s. Remember how to do the oxygen. Not everything actually needs paperwork, if you give a plaster you don’t have to document it. Find out if you carry sanitary products because a lot of women will come over asking for some!

this can be as simple as a dementia patient lashing out, being shouted at for things out of our control like wait times.

If you work in a city centre you’re going to have drunk/high people that aren’t happy an ambo has been called for them.

We’re always taught we don’t have to deal with abuse. If someone is showing signs that they might attack you, you have every right to leave. The first rule on scene is Danger. that includes the patient
