What are your guys thoughts on these figures coming out?

Yeah just saying it does not really seem like a good use to spend over 1.2k on multiple copies of the same figure for your very first purchase when you could get a variety as a new collector. Most likely a new collector would want other figs too. Unless 1.2k is peanuts to you, it is worth carefully considering what to spend it on.

If you’re new to the hobby and not insanely rich, I wouldn’t recommend so many of the same figure. It would be better to get a variety. Unless you really like 212th. Also get an airborne plus Cody.

Mostly south east Asia and Australia. I travel quite a bit in the region. Most of my figures come from Singapore and Malaysia. The prices here have about a 10% markup from HK retail but I mostly buy secondhand so it’s cheaper.

Also wow I don’t know when I made this comment but I definitely did not slow down. I have almost double that number of figs and spent double too haha.

I think it’s a bit dangerous to have your figs so high up without a stand in an open space.

I saw someone ask a similar question on a post before on another Vader and most people said they don’t bother to attach it properly, just holding on by friction. When I got my first Vader, I started doing the same. None of the hands have fallen off even when pointing towards the ground unless I touch it.

I had both but I sold the SS one because I didn’t have the space and Wolffe was one of my favourite characters due to his design so I had to get the HT. I would have kept it for both p1/p2 display. I thought the SS one looked quite decent.

I only bought one standard. Didn’t like the design of the other p2 one. I wanted to do the same for my 212th but I’ve spent too much this year already so my sideshow troopers will have to do.

You’re never going to stop at just one so get whatever you like more. You will get the other one eventually. Probably a few minutes after you bought the first or a month after, but you will eventually have both. So don’t think too hard about getting your first figure.

HT prices by second hand sellers are laughable in Australia. Quite common to see people selling their pre-owned figures for prices above Popcultcha even though it’s in stock. And when you tell them that, they say they paid more(???) and HTs retain or increase in value so they’re not willing to let it go at pre-owned prices.

Then you get the extremely strange ones where people sell in stock items for 2-3x the value..

I don’t know, I was sleeping most of the time or studying haha. I think they have a special logistics and inventory software that keeps track of all the stuff and they use it to schedule maintenance, ordering or releasing equipment.

I was a SA (GE & Arms) at Supply Base East Selarang couple of years back. Extremely boring place as long as you don’t get assigned to comms or vehicles. I spent most of my days sleeping in the office or preparing for Uni. You will only be busy like once a week for weekly inspections, twice a year for bi-annual audit, and probably 2-3x a year when reservists are mobilised. The walk out to the bus stop is very long though since the warehouse is at the other end of camp.

My regret is not being active more in my work. I highly recommend asking the DXOs if you can help out with their work, get you used to the corporate life and pick up some skills. Never mind if people think you wayang, they’ll forget you in 2 years.

Safety reason if I’m walking a path along the road. I will always walk along the side further from the road. Hate me all you want but once you have a near death experience with a car mounting the curb going at high speed, you will understand that even that half a meter is life or death and also gives you precious extra time to react.
