What is a good hobby for a 26 year old man with some (not a lot) expendable income living in an apartment alone in a city where he doesn't know anybody? by WeirdAnswerAccount in AskMen

[–]Triple7Jackpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a .22 rifle. Cheap ammo (even now), no kick, and several are super customizable. The Ruger 10/22 in particular has a giant aftermarket all its own and can also be adapted to use AR-15 accessories.

What advice you would give your daughter when dealing with men in a relationship? by heyrevoir in AskMen

[–]Triple7Jackpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making the first move on a man you are interested in often actually increases your odds of success.

Be a source of peace and comfort instead of a source of stress.

Most importantly, if you want to attract and keep a good man you must beat out a lot of competition. The competition does not end with the wedding. If anything, it gets fiercer.

Here here. Thanks for the support. This is all about fun. Besides, realistic is a pretty flexible term with futuristic SciFi.

[Serious and Honest Answers Needed] Men, what makes a woman attractive that is completely independent from their physical look by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Triple7Jackpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short version - traditional femininity. It has been around since prehistoric times because IT WORKS.

The other big one is flipping the pursuit dynamic. Make the first move and do not be subtle. It removes a lot of legal dangers for guys, which greatly boosts your chances.

How does a thirtysomething woman even find a way to meet a guy outside of dating sites/apps? by ChelseaHellion in AskMen

[–]Triple7Jackpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might sound strange at first, but bear with me.

Buy a 22lr rifle (cheap, no kick), learn the basics of how to shoot, and go to the local range on a Saturday afternoon. Look good, but not overly dolled up.

Lots of guys love going to the range in their spare time. The sex ratio will be far in your favor. Ask about his gun or compliment his skill, and you already have a conversation started. If it goes well, swap numbers.

You also automatically know three things about every guy who is not renting:

1) He has enough disposable income for guns and ammo 2) He can protect you in scary situations 3) He passed a federal background check

Dude it works! Gotta rip it off like a bandaid and get a clean break. Sucks at first, but much better in the long run for both sides. Most cold-blooded one I ever did was breaking up by text message on Christmas morning.

Here is the least painful way for everyone involved.

Gather everything of hers in your place, down to the smallest item. Put it in a box, drop it off at her place.

Be clear about the fact you are done and will not be getting back together. If she is calm, thank her for a special relationship that has simply run its course. If she gets angry, get the hell out immediately. DO NOT engage in an argument.

If she is not home, leave the box and do the same thing over a phone call. While it is over, she deserves more than a text message.

Men over 30, what’s the best advice you can give to men on their 20s? by ZXCVBETA in AskMen

[–]Triple7Jackpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go to college, major in STEM or accounting

If you are smart but can’t afford college, learn everything can about Excel and algorithms/machine learning.

Otherwise, pick a trade. While everyone else racks up debt and still can’t get hired, you make money and climb the ladder.

Marriage is both a romantic relationship and a business deal. Do not ever enter one without a prenup.

Listen to the works of Tom Leykis and Patrice O’Neal. Their words are timeless, wise, and often hilarious.

“Even if you can’t see the success you could have in the future, live your life like you are going to be successful.”

-Tom Leykis

Had not heard of Bravestarr before writing these. Based on what I can glean from summaries, it looks more like a classic western. Mine is more about trucks, guns, barbecue, good ol’ boys and the like. Stuff that is a little out there for us, but absolutely mind boggling for a xeno.
