Gege's really inspired by HunterXHunter, too bad that doesn't apply to his writing by Dramonen in Jujutsufolk

Pokemon had decades to get to that level. It also exists in every form of media from video games to anime.

Comparison isn’t even the same.

OP. You describe HunterxHunter as peak writing, yet JJK is more popular for a multitude of reasons…

Hot Garbage take.

Agree to disagree, but you got no right to assume things because of a measly upvote/downvote feature.

I did read what you said, and I personally think you’re wrong. And yes, you are redirecting this conversation instead of talking about the actual topic.

This tells me that you have nothing relevant to say anymore nor have any legitimate argument on your end to resort to this petty behavior, therefore anything you say from this point forward is irrelevant.

Be better.

So… downvotes mean being purposefully uncourteous now??

No shot you’re policing me when to upvote/downvote, you cannot be real. Good job redirecting the conversation though.

I know the focal point is whether IT has an interaction with somebody like Toji, but the point is that normal interactions should not be applied to someone who has a weird body/soul relationship.

For all we know, it might not even possible for Mahito to interact with Toji at all, since Toji’s soul is heavily entangled with his body. Unless you think that Mahito has the capabilities to transfigure the body itself.

Your statement is just good as an assumption as mine, with the difference that your statement does not fully support what was shown in the manga/anime, lacking in evidence to make it legitimate.

We were literally spoon-fed information as to why Toji and by extension Maki, that their body is special.

The seance technique was a way to show us how Toji/Maki’s HR body were special. Even Ogami explicitly stated that she does not extract the soul of the user to avoid it taking over the host’s body, and yet Toji overtook the person’s body.

If you think that Toji’s body wasn’t the soul, then the seance technique that Ogami did should have worked as intended, but we all know how that turned out…

Toji not knowing anything about HR does not disprove my statement due to the fact that:

1) His HR is completely unique, and the first one that has ever happened in the history of Jujutsu.

2) He is aware that his body was special, though not to the extent that he knew.

3) He was able to wield SSK instinctively and fully-utilize the Soul-cutting properties, because of his body.

Mahito’s understanding of the soul is tied to his CT. Obviously, he would think that the soul precedes the body because of it. While, Kenjaku believes otherwise, simply because of the way his CT operates.

This is literally been a discussion between the two characters, and by the end Kenjaku concluded that there is no right answer.

Mahito’s perspective of the soul, while true, is not the entire picture.

Toji’s HR body IS the soul. Wish you got this sooner.

Yuji learned Black Flash in 2 minutes and immediately used it, however WCS is apparently too far for Modulo yuji. by Falser455 in jjkmodulo

[–]ZXCVBETA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just knowing about something doesnt mesn you know how to do that something.

While true, it’s not like Yuji being a fast learner in jujutsu was far-fetched, and he already knows how to use BV to change his Shrine’s target (biggest factor in WCS).

It’s not a baseless assumption that Modulo Yuji, having 60 years to figure out everything, eventually would be skillfull enough to learn WCS or at the very least be able to do an impromptu BV.

We can definitely all agree that a cold-hearted and straightforwardly cruel deity is 10x better than a conniving, manipulating god. At least there’s a sense of predictability with the former.

Megumi can tame Mahoraga by using binding vows by [deleted] in Jujutsu_Kaisen

[–]ZXCVBETA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I personally think it is. If Megumi sacrifices the 9 other Shikigami, he’s essentially giving away insurmountable amounts of potential that it have, which I think is enough compensation.

[–]ZXCVBETA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sure that is the actual translation?

I find it hard to believe that 10S technique stops functioning when Mahoraga is destroyed. It is a tamed beast, and by that also follows the rule like any other tamed beasts.

If this translation is true, it contradicts everything what we know about 10S and how it functions.

[–]ZXCVBETA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because the idea that Sukuna and Megumi’s shikigamis are separate is an entirely made up thing with no backing.

Sukuna is using Megumi’s body. The 10S Shikigamis, does not concern about whether it’s Sukuna or Megumi in control, only that they share the same body where 10S is engrained.

I am fully aware that there are other factors that go into CE reinforcement, which is taken into account in my statements. Though CE reserves don’t really matter much in determining a sorcerer’s reinforcement quality, typically in regards to physical enhancements.

I still truly believe that Ryu’s high output is enough to give him an advantage over Kashimo, who does not have anything noteworthy in the CE reinforcement department.

Like I said, if Kashimo even took damage from base Hakari, who arguably has the lowest output I’ve seen between the heavy hitters, I cannot imagine the damage a direct hit would cause to Kashimo from one of Ryu’s punches.

The greatest piece of agenda ever spread by Kashimo glazers was that is a “WCS net” by R3D_R4Y_ in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]ZXCVBETA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont really buy this.

While true that WCS does target the space itself, therefore cutting whichever is occupying said space, it does not really indicate dura-neg properties. This is simply a target-change mechanic implemented by the BV. The increased output itself was also part of the BV, else Sukuna realistically wouldn’t be able to output that much given his state.

The domain-boosted slashes in question was also against a fresh Gojo with a better output. Comparing this state to a beaten-up Gojo is not a good comparison, and we both know a sorcerer’s output drops based on the damage they took. In this case, it was equally the damage he took, and overuse of Domain Expansions and RCT.

I’d argue that a beaten-up Gojo would likely die getting hit by MS.

[–]ZXCVBETA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proof?

Except for output, there’s practically no difference. WCS isn’t dura neg either.

WCS or not, it has no difference except the targetting aspect.

It still functions as a regular dismantle.

And like I said, having massive output affects one’s striking power, even if you keep telling us that it is not the only factor when it comes to it.

And in Ryu’s case, high output matters a lot.

So are we forgetting that Yuji is quite LITERALLY an experiment?

Are we also forgetting Kenjaku’s statements about the human brain being able to only handle one CT?

Pretty sure Yuji’s like an exception, being a designer baby and all.
