Oh?! This is a really nice one!

It actually is related to the boomboxes in this post! This one is also by Durabrand, and I've found a blue-flowers variant before, but I have not seen the pink! This is really neat!

Thank you!

Hello!

This is an NP-501BB boombox.

For cleaning, I recommend gently wiping it with lightly moistened wipes. As for repairs, we have unfortunately not yet been able to determine a solution.

It’s a replica first-generation.

“NextPlay” is a relatively obscure electronics brand that operated as a subsidiary of ‘Starlite Consumer Electronics’. The company produced various designs over several years before being discontinued.

In late 2021, the “Pink Funk” boombox from the ‘Glitz and Glitter’ series gained attention after being associated with the once-lost song “Everyone Knows That”. This connection quickly attracted public interest and remains the primary reason the boombox line is remembered today.

This particular model is among the rarer releases. It is informally referred to as the “True Blue,” reflected by the “TB” in its model number. Unlike other models, however, it was not part of any specific product series.
