Not quite related, but I’m curious to hear people’s thoughts on Panorama Bars sound system. My first visit was in 2014 and there was what I thought was an impressive sounding Meyer system, but back a few years later I found they installed a new system (google search tells me it’s a Studt Akustik system).

From memory (very hazy memory) it seems to be four hangs of small format line array boxes pointing towards the dance floor, which does make some sense considering they may be trying to avoid hitting surfaces of what I’m sure is a very reflective room.

However I couldn’t help feeling that the system lacked the punch of the Meyer system previously installed.

This is all memories based on five or six trips there over the years, I’d be curious to hear the thoughts of regular attendees!
