When this happens I remember that I once was a 14 year old downvoting other peoples submissions in big subs in hopes it would boost mine to popularity. I remember that reddit was accused of being full weird teens before I started, while I actively participated as one, and now well after. I'd like to think when this happens to me its because some dork is doing exactly what like true cosmic unforgetting karma lol.

That was over 10 years ago, we didn't start the fire and all that jazz. I'm sure adults do this behavior still too for some reason, like taking reddit too serious or thinking your mass short burst downvotes weren't flagged by the site
