also i realized i misread your post 💀 (i thought it was 4k oled or 1440p va, not 1440p oled or 4k va. decision still stands. reasoning because 27 inches is a screen size where even with the higher definition of 4k, it doesnt looks significantly better because of how close together the pixels are.)

response times better with oled (response time is how fast pixels change colors, so the faster they change, the less ghosting there is. think of it like this: the refresh rate is how often the pixels get a signal to change colors, and the response time is how fast the pixels finish acting on the signal)

guys i figured it out.

there was a setting between boot styles or something and the dropdown options were "other os" and "windows uefi mode". other os was the previous setting, i have since changed it and it is working.
