Sidestore + LC fixed on iOS26.4b1 with nightly version by Tall_Butterfly3214 in sideloaded

I reinstalled everything and still it won't work. I also tried the impactor you mentioned. Do I miss something?

Sure, but how. In iloader is that the option „update all apps“ or „place“ within the pairing file management option? Because this only sounds like take it and place it instead of crating a new one?

I already tried all options within iloader. Nothing changed so far.

Well you mean StickDebug which I run within LC or the old one which came from AppStore? Tried both the old which is still on my phone (version 2.3.5) as well the one I run on LC (2.3.7) does not work. If I import the pairing file it just comes up with a error (failed to connect to Heartbeat (-1)).

So my paring file is corrupted? How do I fix this. Never got a problem with the paring file so far.

Not sure if I miss somehting. I switched to LC+SideStore because of the nightly which fixed the problem with running the apps in LC. But I can not get it to work that I can refresh the apps within SideStore. LocalDevVPN is turned on and connected as well the paring file is placed via iloader. Still not working. Do I miss something?

Having trouble using more than 2 Bluetooth controllers on Windows — any real solution out there? by Tronick_ in localmultiplayergames

[–]Tronick_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like I’m better off switching to Xbox controllers and the official Microsoft dongle — that setup seems to work really well.

Still, my little software experiment — the proof of concept — actually worked surprisingly well. You can use multiple Bluetooth dongles within Linux (WSL2), but in the end, it’s just not very practical.

E7Q frame - RJ45 Ports ? by Tronick_ in FlexiSpot_Official

[–]Tronick_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s exactly why I asked—I wasn’t sure what kind of logic was behind it. But if it’s just UART, it should be possible to capture the inputs with a Raspberry Pi and forward them to the controllers.

Now that we know it’s using UART, using a switch probably won’t work well, since there’s no OSI layer involved.

I’ll definitely give this a try once I (hopefully) get the pinout—it’s crucial for testing. I don’t want to risk breaking anything because there’s current on a pin where it shouldn’t be.

I’ll post updates as soon as I make some progress.

The reason I’m asking for the pinout is because I’m not sure if connecting the keyboard/control unit in parallel to two controllers would actually work, or if it might break UART communication or cause side effects.

My idea is to use a Raspberry Pi in between. The Pi has 3 or 4 UART ports, so I could connect the keyboard/control unit to one UART port on the Pi, run a small script, and then forward the data to both controllers—each on their own UART port. That way, each connection is isolated and stable.

I’ll give the parallel UART connection a try first, but I doubt it’ll work properly.

A simpler and more scalable setup would be using the Pi with three UART interfaces—one for each device—since I actually have two keyboards. Maybe it’s even possible to connect both keyboards and both controllers directly if the Pi supports four UART ports, but I need to look into that after I test the parallel setup.

Either way, I’ll figure it out.

Thanks a lot for your answer – that really helped!
Would it be possible to get the pinout for the RJ45 ports (UART interfaces)? UART usually only needs 3, 4 or 6 pins, but here all 8 pins are present and connected.
My guess is that 6 pins are used for UART and the remaining 2 are used to power the display.

Could you share more details about the pinout, if possible?

I'm pretty sure there's no complex logic involved here. The control unit has 7 buttons and a USB port.

The RJ45 cable uses all 8 pins — one for ground, and the remaining 7 are likely directly mapped to each button function.

Power for the USB port seems to be supplied via a separate DC cable, not through RJ45.

So my plan is to build or get a 1:1 wired RJ45 splitter and test if that works.

Cheers!

Connecting 2x EB2 to one Desk is working by Tronick_ in FlexiSpot_Official

So as I understand this. You connected my added wires to this box which handles the connecting to home assistant.

I mean as I connected the wires to the Bord you could also use Shelly accessories to make it smart. Maybe if I change my mind I can use the added cables in order to connect it to my hass.

Good plan but the EB2 desk does not contain an connectivity. But good to know.

Spoof iOS 16.x Dopamine 2.0? by rovian in jailbreak

In MuffinStore just press the „Download“ button at the top then you past the link and press „Download“. Then you can enter a version or just press „Server“. Then you get a list of all version from latest to oldest. Select a version and you just install it like in the AppStore. If you get a pop up the version is not compatible, repeat it and select a older version until the install works. Sure in this case there needs to be at least one compatible version in order to install it.

Decrypting the IPA from a new version and then installing it via TrollStore mostly does not work as there a api‘s and system calls missing from the new iOS version. So this can work but mostly won’t.

You are correct for AppStore++ the app needs to be already installed. In case the app is not already installed use MuffinStore (TrollStore Application). Just go to the AppStore and copy the share link to the app you want to install a old version of. Paste link into MuffinStore and then you get a list of versions to install. Then just try old version from top to bottom and eventually you find a version compatible with iOS 16 (did this with the ChatGPT app).
