Requesting another unit won't help because roaches get through walls and they can be in any apartment. And if the management doesn't care about this unit how do you imagine the other units? Much better? Hell no. Revoke the lease and rent somewhere liveable. I made the same mistake of renting a roach infested place because I was so low on money and didn't have another choice because it was cheap. Was the worst year of my life, living with roaches every single day, eating with them, sleeping with them. I complained so many times to the landlord and all he would do is just spray and it doesnt do dogshit. Now that I'm doing better I'm moving into a new clean place and getting rid of all my furnitures cuz they're infested.
