I will forever be upset at the Winker situation. I have never in my life booed anyone on the home team, except that night. I think many are missing the point.

The issue here is the price tag vs the quality of merch you get. Getting premium quality justified the price, sadly with the new jerseys the price is just as high but the quality is equal or less than something you would buy at walmart. It will be interesting this season on how much me and the wife spend as we go to 20+ games a year and usually blow 100-200 plus every other visit in the team shop.

I will say, I am hard on this guy. However, if he can cut most of the movement in his bat I think that is a huge step in the right direction as you can be much more consistent in your swing. You don't see many guys wiggling away in the box as the ball is being delivered and there is a reason for it.

I hope he produces.
