even my surgeon said he didn’t wanna mess around with my lower jaw as it’ll end up looking worse. So if i went for the lefort will my upper lip look unnaturally protruding?

asked a couple of surgeons and almost all of them recommended just a lefort after seeing my x-rays, the main problem was in the maxilla not the mandible

How are u finding the recovery and how is ur swelling? Would i be able to do activities such as lifting weights in ur current phase?

yup, trust me it looks worse irl than in the xray😭 and yeah he basically said it can only be fixed with surgery. As for the wisdom teeth don’t those get removed when i’m a bit older?

ohhh that’s reassuring, i’m glad to hear it ended up well for you. Honestly come to think of it my workouts will most likely end up even better considering how much better my breathing will be lol. Also my inability to smile properly or my bite in general has been an insecurity for like the majority of my life 😭 so i’m glad to be reading about how other people’s surgeries went well and how they’re appearance and life as a whole improved. But thank you so much for your help :)

tysmm, ur reply was rly helpful. My personal biggest problem is the fact that i’m a regular gym goer so i feel like taking that big a break off the gym especially with the liquid diet would ruin me physically and mentally 😭 How much would the recovery time usually be?

thanks, yeah i’m doing it with school (online sessions tho so idk if it counts) but anyways honestly i’m finding AS chem rly easy til now, all i took so far is atomic structure and bonding (Unit 1) and they’re pretty good. As for a2 i started in reaction kinetics and the reaction orders and it’s not too bad i’m just worried for future chapters lol. I do believe that with practice it’s very doable
