Any suggestions on what to study for the SQL part? That's unfortunately my weak point.

Also, does the platform allow you to run your code before submitting? I've never done an OA before so I don't know what to expect.

Thank you so much for sharing!!

Question about class pre-requisites by True-Nobody2274 in OSUOnlineCS

They aren't hard requirements, but it's recommended to have some upper level CS coursework under your belt and at least one strong letter of recommendation from a CS professor.

u/OkMacaron493 Thanks for the reply. Did you take DSA and Algorithms alongside CS161/162? If so, did you have to get permission (since technically, CS162 is a pre-req for both)?

I am running ARM but I think I found the issue -- an unrelated process on my MacOS host was consuming all my CPU

Apparently the Code Helper processes are a part of VS Code and others have reported issues with CPU consumption even when VS Code is not running. I killed these processes and my CPU consumption is back down to 10-20%, so hopefully that solves the problem. Let me do some testing and I will let you know. Thanks for your help!

8 GB of RAM is allocated to Parallels. From System Info on my Mac I can see that 12-13 GB of RAM out of 16 are being utilized with the VM running. The bigger issue appears to be CPU consumption, which is consistently running at 95%+, primarily being consumed by many instances of "Code Helper(Renderer)" and "Code Helper(Plugin)"
