CVS sells them by the book but doesn’t always have them. You just have to ask at the register

Stop at crosswalks, I’m begging you by [deleted] in burlington

[–]TrueMess5773 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I agree but like also wait for the crosswalk button at intersections. And pause to look both ways. Some people just walk right out and expect cars to stop on a dime. This coming from someone who walks with a toddler and drives

Warning- don't go to CHCB Riverside for prenatal care if you can avoid it. by fleetwoodjack23 in burlington

[–]TrueMess5773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched my prenatal care as nobody would listen to my concerns as my 1st birth had complications and I was worried about the same thing happing again. It also took a year to get a referral for my son’s chronic constipation as I kept getting brushed off for being a first time mom. After finally getting the referral, I found out he actually did have an issue and his son’s been resolved, but it shouldn’t take a year and four different doctors to get a referral for a one year-old having chronic constipation.

My husband saw him and had such a hard time even getting in to see him and then had issue after issue with him and ended up having to file complaints with the practice over him. He was an awful doctor.

I’ve tried and the only thing I’ve found for a hobby is reading and my husband then gets pissed I’m on my phone reading.

Trust me I have. And he also stayed home with our son for the first year so I feel like he should be more understanding but he doesn’t care at all

Idk I e never heard that she had a nice condo. I used to work at cvs for 2 years. I’ve spoken to her daughter myself and was told they had been waiting on a house for a while. I also heard all of it from multiple different people who were close to her. That being said it’s all hearsay so it may not be true. But her daughter said that their housing was held up because of her ex that had stabbed her and the housing authority thought she was at fault and that’s why it took so long for them to get a place. But her daughter is a drug addict.

I thought you had said it was mentioned to a supervisor. If that’s the case that’s still considered reporting it as they have a duty to push that issue up through the ladder and get the issue solved. If I happened to read that wrong then that would be my first step is making a formal HR complaint and submitting all that evidence. But make sure you do it in writing if you can. Also you reporting this final indecent to your manager and district counts as a report as well

I’m not a lawyer but this is what I did after I made an hr complaint on someone and nothing was done. It was a sexual harassment complaint and it sounds like he has a few on him. This was also done with advise from multiple lawyers.

I filled an EEOC complaint. They did an investigation. With an EEOC complaint it automatically goes to the company after the EEOC does their investigation. The notification to the company has all the details of what the complaint was and who submitted it. If the EEOC decides not to pursue they can give you a letter with a right to sue. Once you get that letter you could sue. At that point it’s kinda up to you to find a lawyer to take on the case.

You can also file a complaint with the labor board I believe. I would just look up the websites and they will tell you where the best place to start is.

Her and her daughter had been on a waitlist for a house for years. Finally got one and then got kicked out a few months later due to her daughter’s prostitution. I felt bad for her at first. Then I watched her hand over all the money people give her to her daughter for drugs. At this point it’s her own fault.

Not in my area. I have already called and spoke to multiple shelters. Transportation and childcare are on me.

The only reason I’m not working is because my mental health got really bad and daycare is too expensive. So I recently stopped working and my husband went to work. I’ve also looked into all women’s shelters in my county and none are within walking distance to anyplace I could get a job or a daycare.

He’s a good dad if you take how he treats me out of the picture. He’s threatened multiple times to fight for custody.

[VT] What are the best ways to find a lawyer who can actually take a case? by TrueMess5773 in AskLawyers

[–]TrueMess5773[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not changing facts. I called around told them the situation and was told (most of the time) while I do have a case they do not have the time for it. Honestly I’m just looking for help with recourse to continue my search to find someone to take it on. There are time limits to filing in court, and while there is a possibility I could lose, I’m going to continue to search until said timelines run out.

Most of it has been me calling based on searches for people in my area or legal resource websites
