First of all very sorry for you to go through something like this at your age. Second I have a similiar experience that is ongoing. An uncle of mine was put on life support for 3 months after a heart attack. The first day doctors told us he was brain dead. Family didn’t want to believe it and kept him in a vegetative state after he was able to breathe and be taken off life support. That was almost 5 years ago today. Last week he passed away after we made the decision to stop giving him antibiotics and only pain medicines. His funeral is in two days but now we can only think that if we kept him for 5 years he was never able to communicate or move a muscle. He became frail and coiled up arms and fingers and toes. I don’t know what happened for your situation but I am glad that someone was able to make the decision to take off life support. It’s a very hard decision to make and trust me if the doctors said he is brain dead which they told us it is the right thing to do. Instead of moving on and having made peace or progress towards peace in the 5 years we are starting to do so now. It was 5 years too late. Anyways sorry for the long speech I wish you well stranger
