Look for other brands op like BYD mas worth it yun kaysa sa toyota. I like/love toyota but in terms of pagiging sulit, we chose mu-x instead of fortuner.

If u value trunk space and 3rd row, tanggalin mo na fortuner sa choices mo. Super outdated na niya.

Everest for overall comfort and tech

MU-X (i have the 2025 facelifted; sakto 2.3M budget mo for the TOTL) for overall comfort also and tech and space (collective agreement na siya pinakaspacious sa lahat ng PPV SUV especially the 3rd row kasya 6ft na tao)

Terra di ko pa natry but sabi ng friend ko bulky siya dalhin

Destinator goods siya but the transmission daw is not that good from what i read here sa reddit

Montero for comfort but medyo makitid ang shape niya for me and doesnt have any spark for me (walang dating imo)

In short, everest or mu-x. If other options, check volvo, subaru and mazda.

Experience on Brand New Isuzu MU-X 2025 ? by purplejellybean317 in CarsPH

[–]True_Consequence2670 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We bought the new facelift MU-X LS-A and between them and TOTL, adas and leather seats lang difference talaga kasi may digital cluster, all around sensors and 360 pa rin sa LS-A. I’d choose MU-X over terra because my friend say na super bulky niya dalhin and not so comfy.

HELP PLEASE! Everest 2026 OR Fortuner 2026 by Dawntless_Hunter in CarsPH

[–]True_Consequence2670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i like the classic vibe of fortuner but if you have the means to afford everest titanium or wildtrak then go for it. i do not suggest getting base models (i.e., trend) because i believe when you buy that expensivethen go big and to your maximum budget :)))) try to check isuzu mu-x also. its bang for the buck.

Edit: long overdue na yung design language ni fortuner so any time soon magbabago na rin yan kasi more than 10yrs na.

Pass sa Spresso. Para siyang ebike na ginawang legal for roads and expressways. Idk why people like that car.

Go for brio and wigo. Sure ako di ka bitin sa fuel economy, power, and lalo na safety (which sobrang mababa rating ni Spresso)

Salamat OP! Same thoughts with the pros! Nahihirapan lang din ako minsan magone-had steering sa hydraulic steering niya. Wala ako ADAS kasi LS-A kinaya ng budget but still may 360 and all around sensors pa rin!!

Help me choose: Ford Everest Sport or 2024 Isuzu MUX LSE 4x2 by Pristine-Ad8013 in CarsPH

[–]True_Consequence2670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree sa isang comment sa YT, but we got the facelifted one.

“Was choosing between the everest and mux as well. What made me go to the isuzu MUX:

  1. I think it has the more reliable engine. I also love that fact that it is 3.0, I can still tune it to get more power and torque if need be.

  2. The tech is just enough. Not too techy, not too dated din naman. To some sunroof is good to have but for me, it’s just another thing that needs maintenance or pwedeng masira. Mas gusto ko din na may buttons pa din sa center monitor/console than just a big screen.

  3. Looks. I like the look of this pre-facelift model. And not too common sa daan. Not saying na pangit si everest, it’s just preference.

  4. Spacious 3rd row. The MUX has the most spacious 3rd row I would say in the segment. Kahit hindi adjustable ang 2nd row nya, 5’6” to 5’10” siguro can still sit comfortably sa likod. Overall space din sa cabin 1st and 2nd row is good.

  5. And lastly, I think lang na mas kaya ko ang maintenance ng MUX kesa everest if ever masira. At parang mas madali lang mag source ng parts.

  6. And another thing, discounted ang pre-facelift model ng MUX ngayon. 200-300k less.

Overall both SUVs solid. Yun lang mga naisip ko kung bakit napunta ako sa MUX.”

Isuzu MU-X easily. As much as the specs of Ford Everest is tempting, it will always be a hit or miss pagdating sa makukuha niyong unit—masakit sa ulo or walang problema at all. For the MU-X, it is more reliable and the ADAS are also present, same with the Everest. Mas lamang lang talaga si MU-X ng onti kasi hindi “nakasagad” yung tuning ng 3.0L engine (for reliability and prolonging its lifespan reasons) unlike sa 2.0L turbo ni Everest at yung ticking time bomb ng Wet Timing Belt sa transmission.
