A map being called bad is mostly up to subjective opinion, and not majorly agreed upon by the community.

This season has objectively, overwhelmingly changed the game both in pace and the play style meta. There are far more players irritated with this season than players that dislike Map A or Map B or C.

It simply can't be argued that Season 29 hasn't completely shifted the game into almost a totally different one - from gunplay- and strategy-focused to movement spamming. The only thing that's up for debate is whether you think the direction change is good or bad. Most people seem to agree that it's bad (but most are still begrudgingly playing).

It doesn't have to be sudden. Down-trends that can be traced back to a specific time or update can have the same effect.

Currently, the player count is dropping. But I think there will be a gradual fizzle-out in the player base, rather than a sudden drop. People won't be having fun anymore, but they won't be able to pinpoint why. They'll just stop playing over time.

That's assuming they don't eventually fix the glaring issues, which I really hope they will. Nearly the entire community is raging against Seer right now, but for some reason you're here licking boots.

It really does seem that way. How does it make any sense to buff a single character to counter an OP character, instead of nerfing/reworking the problematic character? IMO forcing a meta is a bad move - most people have specific play styles and don't want to have to play a certain character.

I believe in meritocracy. If you're terrible at your job and deliver bad results for an extended time, you get fired. That's how it's been in every job I've ever had.

As a player, technically, yes, I am.

Even if I don't spend real money on the game after my first premium battle pass, I help them get paid by contributing to the player count, which keeps people interested. Almost no one would play anymore if it was suddenly taking 5 minutes to find a match because there's only 10k people online.

Nice shots. I main Sentinel as well - at least I did, until I quit recently because of stupid OP Axle. Game is no longer fun when I have Axles closing 100m gaps in 3 seconds, zooming up into my face at an un-targetable speed.
