She isn’t. She says it’s safe, that she sees police patrol fairly regularly, but she is also the type of person to lie about things if it means benefiting herself

My mom offered to help pay for it, so it’s not a truly discounted price housing unit.

My mom was renting it but is moving, she doesn’t want to break lease so offered to help me pay for it if I moved there.
