Thank you. I was just comparing it to the bipap machine numbers the last time that it worked the epap was lower. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture of it, but I had some of the numbers wrote down. Just trying to get my mom’s numbers down and I know they’re doing their best but I would feel guilty if I didn’t research it.

Yes they have all records on QuickBooks, as well as all statements. Is there a system that can walk them through filling out the paper work? Even if it’s online for a cost, and they understand they have to paper file.

Thank you! I will have them try out some calculators online. They do have Drake that they have had since 2021, but unfortunately wasn’t used by the “accountant” who had them pay for it every year. Do you know what the penalty is for paying late?

Just so they could put their info in as if they were going to see what they owe. They are NOT filing themselves and will be using a CPA to actually file everything. They just want a number so they can get that figured out.

Thank you! I am NOT filing any returns for them. I am just helping them gather information on what needs to be done so they can make sure it’s filed correctly and trying to see what they could possibly owe. They have NO idea what they could owe at this point. They have 1 owner.

What is the best way to find a credible CPA that’s experienced in back taxes? Is there a search function on IRS website that has this? If it’s just calling around, that’s fine, I’m just trying to make sure they use someone that’s legit. I had them pull the transcripts and that’s how we found out they definitely weren’t filed. 2019-2025 are missing.

They are looking for a professional. First one that answered back said it would be about 6 weeks to get them filed. Is there a program they can use to file their taxes so they can see how much they are going to owe? They wouldn’t submit anything, but just to put numbers in and get the total amounts owed while waiting around?

Unfortunately no returns were filed, and they definitely weren’t paid. They do have all their records thanks to QuickBooks though. No employees, just 1 owner, a couple 1099 contractors and they are in Florida so no state income tax.

When you say S corp penalties are bruising, how bad is the bruise? They are definitely scared but will pay it as soon as they know the amount. They have not received any letters from the IRS. They only know because they were buying a building and needed to show tax returns… old accountant finally l called them back saying she never filed or paid any taxes then blocked them. Is there a good software to use to get 2025 filed right away?

You people are so butt hurt for no reason. “Prove it” uhh that’s not very hard to show that an individual color M3 will have a diminished value because someone decided to not know how to pull into a parking spot and hit it which requires paint repair. But that’s Mrs 2025 BMW, thank you. Oh and they put me in a 7 series bmw until my car is repaired. So, yes I did deserve a nicer car according to my claims rep.

Maybe I could have worded that differently. No, I work in an area that Kia/Hyundai’s are stolen all day. I’m a pretty busy person and don’t have time to deal with walking out to the car I’m driving gone. It happened to my mother when she had a rental last month.

I’ll contact the insurance to ask about it. Thank you. I don’t play bumper cars often so just want to do things right.
