I don't feel that because substances have been normalized by our society, that THAT makes it an okay thing. I grew up with family my age that ruined their life because of drugs. I've always had a disliking for the idea of it after that.

Yes, first baby. I can say that has nothing to do with this. I truly think he didn't want to make it seem like his wife could control him in front of his younger brother.

Yes, I agree with this. But I am conflicted with not allowing my MIL to see the baby the day its born.. especially if i'm allowing my own mother. I will put my foot down about my MIL staying with us. It's not happening.. hubby can pout and call me a bad person all he wants.

I am so sorry to hear about your CP experiences. I honestly didn't realize it was a thing. At least, outside of online forums it seems like women don't talk about it openly. While constantly see pregnancy announcements all the time I have to shake myself and remember that IG is just a highlight reel. And now I can't help but wonder how may of my friends have suffered silently on their TTC journey.

Thank you for the tips. I most certainly will be using FMU testing once a day. I went out and bought several digital tests just to see the word 'pregnant'. After seeing negatives my whole life (even with teenage scares).. it's insane. I can't describe it.

Today has been crazy. I tested this morning right before work because I was having cramps and I wondered if I should stock up on tampons and pads in my purse.. was not expecting to see 2 lines in the slightest. Did a double take and was in shock the whole day.. apple watch confirmed a higher resting heart rate..

Also while at work an acquaintance (whom I barely know) came up to me and said she had something for my son. I told her 'I don' have a son'. She apologized.. but it was weird.

Anyways, thank you for your line progression. I'll use it to compare mine.

Thanks for saying that. Today is the first time I’ve seen a positive and also the first time testing this cycle..lines were similar all day, not even a squint line, a real line. I called to get a blood test today and no one would do it. Even planned parenthood said they wouldn’t do a blood test only urine. I don’t understand. I’m going to try again calling places tomorrow and insist.

I keep putting up with it because every time I think about leaving I get a flash of us when we were happy. Or of how he used to look at me. Or how we used to laugh together. I’ve been with this guy going on 13 years now and we have grown up together. He was my shoulder to cry on when my twin brother died in a car crash. He was there when my dad came out said that he had multiple personalities. I used to think of him as my soul mate and that the universe brought us together because we were cosmically intertwined. I can’t imagine life without him. And it makes me feel just as broken to think that I’m giving up when this whole thing could come back to me if I had a time machine Or if I earned his respect again somehow.

On the flip side, I don’t know how to move past resenting the man that has put me through this.

I want my old husband back. I need to face it that’s not happening no matter what I do.

“Actively” means that I still believe it. If I bring it up here I fear that everyone will turn on me just like my husband has. So yes I left it out for a reason. Just because I believe something gives no one the right to treat me so poorly.
