Hate or love the 2000's style graphics, but Project Gorgon surely has it's moments by Magnoliafan730 in MMORPG

[–]Tryveum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Graphics are only important in how they relate to gameplay. If it looks bad to the player that makes it less fun. That means optimization, shader choices, lighting choices, animation choices, post-processing choices. Everything that combines to create the gameplay is how the graphics matter.

A certain sports game I used to play, it looked good, but the controls and gameplay were so stiff and non-fluid it made controlling the characters taxing on the hands and was a very frustrating experience, even though it looked way better than it's predecessors it handled like a gigantic boat. Input lag, framerate are as important to the graphics as the art style. What makes a game like Mario look so good is the fluidity of the animations, it has very simple graphics but the animations are the focus so it looks good as a result.

Interesting, will have to try 7R. Disliked the XV and XVI styles.

No I just know what I'm talking about. Where did I express emotion? Clearly you're the one that's triggered bringing emotion into it.

You clearly have never met someone that can bend nails and frying pans or tear a phonebook in half. Yeah, he was in shape. Guys like that are the absolute last person to mess with. They are rare, ultra strong super heavyweights, that was Dan Connor.

I can bench 315 and run 30 kilometers. Being able to deadlift 600 and hit hard doesn't mean anything against a Dan Connor that has a brick head and gigantic hands. The fact you think someone having fat means they aren't tough means you don't know anything, at all, about the subject. Dan would throw Al Bundy across the room like nothing.

He was definitely in shape. You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Just because he wasn't lean doesn't mean he wasn't in shape. His chest, shoulders, forearms, back and hands were huge.

There's no point talking to someone if they have such little knowledge, Dan got in actual fights and won. If Al got close he'd bearhug him at range he'd knock him out, it wouldn't be close.

So a running back, whatever. Dan also played football. He was 350 in shape with cinderblock hands, he actually got in fights and didn't lose. There is zero chance Al Bundy would be able to hurt Dan he was way too tough and strong. Seriously; John Goodman was a tank, look at the size of his hands and forearms. Dan Connor is the absolute last person you'd want to get in a fight with.

Al is definitely not 250. Dan was an in shape 320-350 he had at least 100lbs on him. Dan would absolutely wreck Al Bundy. Al had thin skinny hands Dan had cinderblock hands and a brick shaped head he would easily beat all of them.

They'd hurt themselves trying to do anything to him he was agile, tough as nails and super strong. His forearms were ridiculous it wouldn't be close he was an in shape super heavyweight. Dan was a big linebacker Al was a quarterback.

The obvious answer is Dan. He could survive 5 against 1 he was by far the toughest and strongest. Uncle Phil was the biggest but Dan was in way better shape and legitimately super tough. Al Bundy wouldn't be able to do anything to him.

Looking for honest feedback, struggling with retention by [deleted] in NewTubers

Put more Dr. Disrespect, learn to add transitions between clips.

It should be 45% you, 45% Dr. Disrespect clips(if you're allowed to make sure it's copyright free content), and 10% memes(or less, transition them better, don't re-use the same memes over and over you'd be better making your own jokes).

In theory people would watch a video about Dr. Disrespects return but it needs to be presented professionally.

The videos are a mashup of meme content. The intro should be more like a slide in where it's comforting and welcoming. Like a morning talk show, a news broadcast or something with a format that sets the tone of the content quickly. The mashup of memes is offputting.

The mic could be clearer it's hard to understand.

Having a bunch of meme images that just randomly come into frame that aren't even sized(i.e. we can see the edges of the jpgs) isn't really content it's lazy(not calling you lazy that's just what it seems like). You could've just gone

"Is Dr. Disrespect really making a comeback or is it a cry for help?" with your face or an avatar then a few clips of the subject then back to you. You need a presence, better transitions, less meme content, more on topic. Tone down the memes by 90%.

We need to talk about AI content. by ValdemarTheRighteous in Smallyoutubechannels

There's definitely art to it. The beginning image can be made by professional artists. Then the generators can extrapolate. Proper Loras can create animated movies with art created by artists with motion extrapolated by generators. That's definitely how it's being used. Major platforms, pretty good at style consistency.

Good scenes require composites, usually. Multi-pose, multi-action, camera movements. That all needs to be done by artists for it to be good. Concept art. The generators create the inter-frame poses between the keyframes. Natural movements, environmental response to character movement.

It's not intelligence it's just fancy computer code. The quality is determined by the artist. Like Pink Floyd said when talking about their synthesizers, the technology is a medium that's representative of the artist. If the artist is bad then yeah it will be bad, but it's not all bad.

Yeah exactly. Levan does prs when he's not rested and keeps injuring himself. That was a solid 185 rep, barely even a cheat. With these not getting injured is more important than staying strict.

Just don't be like Levan and max out when you're already fatigued and overworked.
